Whole Wheat or White?

Today was bread baking day.  Our daughter-in-law got us hooked on a wonderful bread she makes using whole grain.  It was so good, my DH said I had to learn to make it....little did he know!!  We joke now that the first loaf cost $700.  We joined a co-op where I buy whole grains and mill the wheat myself.  I use a recipe that makes 5 loaves at a time.  I leave some plain and swirl some with cinnamon and raisins.  I love it that there's always some to share with friends and neighbors.

I've tweaked the original recipe a bit by adding a "Special Milk powder" from Baker's catalog.  It improves the shelf life and texture.  

Off for a busy weekend.  It's my turn to work hospitality at church all weekend so probably won't have any time to stamp.  :-(
