It's a Dolly Mama Kinda Week!

Ugh..so sorry I haven't been able to post for a few days...it's been one of those weeks. I've had to finish kits for Stamp Camps, my car started bucking and hopping yesterday...on the way to Bible Study. That meant turning around and coming home, calling the shop, the tow truck, the husband. It bucked for the tow driver but do you think they could get it to do it at the shop? Nooooooo. Of course not! So it's a $155 later and I'm still carless.

Then, my DH's boss decided they would have a weight loss contest so I had to spend the better part of yesterday making low carb, high fiber, high protein stuff for him to eat. I found a muffin recipe in "Clean Eating" that he actually likes. Will post the recipe if anyone wants to try them.
I'm shopping for HO insurance...if you live in FL you know what I'm talkin' about. Way expensive!! Plus, I live in a wood house...you would think it was a sin. Costs more to insure even though it's built like a tank. And we're trying to refi the house....
In addition, I have projects due for a fundraiser THIS WEEKEND and they're not finished!! YIKES! Yep, it's a Dolly Mama kinda week!!

I pulled this card from my stash. It was for a SCS challenge awhile ago. I have several of these Dolly Mommas. I love them 'cause they're like Hallmark's Maxine...they can say what I can't.
;-)

This hot momma is stylin' in a completely paper pieced outfit, right down to her shoes. Click on the smaller pictures. She's got pearl earrings, pearls on her shoes and bag and even a pearl necklace. And did you see that feather in her hat?? Hello Dolly!! hee, hee, hee Yes, she is supposed to be leaning to one side...we old people do that, you know!

Be sure to pop back in because Regina has some surprises coming from the Cutting Cafe...hint...it's giveaway time!!
