Teapot Tuesday, WOYWW129, and Happy Thanksgiving!

Here's my card for Teapot Tuesday (MMTPT173).  My card was a bit late but I wanted to be sure to send a card to young man named Neil Klippenstein, who lives in Canada.  Neil was on his motorcycle when a speeding truck threw him into the car in front of him and now he's a quadraplegic.  We wanted to cheer him up with cards featuring his beloved motorcycles.  He still loves them even though he can never ride again.

I used a digi image for a super quick card.    The shiny metallic cardstock and the glittered dp from DCWV Glitter Stack fit the challenge requirements for silver.  I've seen motorcycle guys with eagles on their jackets so when I found this one in my stash..on it went.  I hope it brings him some cheer.

Now for WOYWW #129 over at Julia's Stamping Ground.  Yes, it was Wed. when I took this photo, just after midnight when I was crafting this card.  I've been working on DT projects that can't be shared yet.

Funny how fast cards come together when I don't overthink them!
Be sure to head over to Julia's to see what's happening on other workdesks around the world.

Finally, a Blessed and very Happy Thanksgiving to all my US friends.  May we never forget the sacrifices that were and are being made so that we may celebrate safely with our families in this season of Thanks and Giving.  If you are traveling, may you go in safety.   I pray for those who have yet to realize how fortunate they are to be able to live freely in a country where young men and women voluntarily risk their lives daily while they themselves choose to break the laws that have made this country great as they attempt to destroy businesses and disrupt lives.

Hi Charlene, what a steely card that is... I hope it cheers up Neil. So sad that he cannot drive mobikes ever again. Very neat card.

Happy Thanksgiving - I know how special it is out there. I am grateful for having you as a blog buddy.

Love and hugs,

Monica

Love this card! I'll have to remember this when it comes time to make my brother, an avid biker, a card!
