It's Back to School Time Cutting Cafe Style - Giveaway

Edited to add:  Thanks for commenting.  The drawing is closed.

It's time for back to school.  Time for sharp new pencils and crisp white paper in new shiny notebooks, bright new backpacks and lovely new crayons...oh....the smell of a new box of crayons!  All those beautiful colors!  Time for first day of school pictures in new clothes.  Being just a little bit scared and a little bit excited all at the same time at the thought of a new teacher, new friends and maybe even a new school.
What better way to remember those moments than in an album just for those special first days of school?
I must apologize for this photo...there is so much glitter on this cool paper that my flash was bouncing all over the place. I took tons of pictures but just couldn't get a good one.   It looks really awesome  in person but the camera wasn't too happy.

Remember you can always click on the photos for a closer look...I don't want to blind you!  This is the School Word Book Cutting Template.

The tags are from the huge School Days Printable Stamp Set28 super images and sentiments perfect for back to school scrapbooking and card making.  I cut the buses from the designer paper.

Now for the fun!!  Regina has said I can give these TWO sets away!  Both of them.  All you have to do is leave me a comment below.  I'd love to hear about your favorite school memory.  If you'd like to become a follower, that would be great although not required.

The drawing will end on Thursday, August 12th at 6 p.m. (Eastern).  I will choose a winner using random number selector.

I just realized that I've passed 66,000 hits and it's almost my blog anniversary so be on the lookout for some BIG blog candy.  You never know when it will pop up!

I appreciate each and every visit and comment.  Good luck!!

  4. Cute book..
My favorite school memory is on the first day of school for my freshmen year, I looked up across the room and saw this handsome guy in my class. Six years later we were married and last September celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary, with our 4 children and their spouses and 8 grandchildren.
Thanks for bringing back great memories.

  6. Beautiful book Charlene - I love the colours and the design. I remember that feeling of a new school year! I mostly loved the new stationery to be honest!! My youngest son left school this year so I don't think I'll be involved in new school years for a while now - maybe in a few years with grandchildren! x

  8. I love the album project! I am a special ed teacher & have 7 autistic students in grade 3-4-5. They love to see themselves & friends in photos. Each year I gather some photos & the book goes on the book shelf. During free time, these photo albums are a big hit! They even look at them & share conversation about..."remember when we....." It is so great to see them conversing. I plan to do a school book for this school year. THANKS!!

  12. I have never done a word book, but yours is terrific. My favorite school memory--I had a business teacher in 9th grade who took me under her wing and provided me many opportunities in high school that would have been impossible for me to experience without her guidance. She was such an inspiration that I went to college, became a high school business teacher, and am getting ready to start my 38th year in education. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and he will begin his 37th year of teaching at the same high school we attended as students. Life is good!

  14. Wonderful book!! I can't wait to start scrapping memories of my grandson as he starts kindergarten this August!! I'm so sad, he's growing up so fast!! But he's very excited!! Anyway, one of my favorite memories of school has to do with shoes!!! Being one of six and going to Catholic school where we wore uniforms, I can always remember how ecstatic I was when I got to go shoe shopping-just me and my Mom!!! I will always cherish my memory of my first pair of loafers, with little fringe and a place for a penny!!! I thought I was the best ever!!! LOL!!
    Hugs,
    Teri

  22. My favorite school memory, is not really mine but my 7 year old's. Her first day in Pre-K we lived in El Paso and had to take her to the main school and then she would be bused to the Pre-K school, so we dropped her off and she was the only one not crying, just holding on tight to her water bottle, (too cute) Then my husband and I decided that we would follow the bus all the way to her school and just make sure she was okay. LOL!! I remember feelng so nervous and scared! She was fine, but I was a mess!! I would love to win this prize. thank you for the chance. pattig161@yahoo.com

  28. I was just thinking back to the good ol school days (ok I'm getting ready to date myself) but I just loved reading the Dick and Jane books while I was in 1st grade. Even found some to send to my "twin grandchildren" This would be such a wonderful book to capture their school years in.
    Thanks for sharing
