May Arts Retro Challenge Project - It's all about the Package! Giveaway Alert!

Here's my inspiration project for the May Arts Ribbon Retro Color Challenge this month.  It's all about the package, right?  I think these colors would work for everything from babies to Mother's Day to friends to....well, you get it, everything...except those manly men in our lives.

I cut the paper corded handles off, punched holes, added grommets, then tied on that gorgeous May Arts Grosgrain with Scalloped edge.  Isn't it fun?!

I used a combination of Scor-Tape and hot glue to attach the ribbons to the bag.  The Scor-tape is mainly to hold the ribbon in place until the hot glue sets.

Yummy, yes!   Here's the inspiration photo for the challenge.

Do you want to play along?  Just head to the May Arts Blog and follow the Ribbon Lady's instructions.  She'll even send you the ribbon to play with!  How cool is that?

And..I had some of these yummy ribbons left over...enough to make any of the projects on the May Arts blog, including my gift bag.

So leave me a comment and when the Ribbon Lady announces the participants on the MA blog, I'll pick a winner from my blog.  So you can win either way!!
