Today's assignment is a color challenge and I couldn't resist because these are the colors I think of when I think of where we live.
I put off my shower to head into the studio to try and fnd something to match...Not quite but almost. The flower by Rubbernecker Stamps, actually looks much better IRL but it's overcast here today...seems there's a tropical storm playing around in the Atlantic today so the light is awful. (go away!)
I clear heat embossed the image. I tried the fingerinking technique on the flower that Jennifer McGuire introduced last week...yes, I did pay attention. It reminds me of fingerpainting...so fun. I used Copics to color the leaves as they were a bit narrower for fingerinking.
Be sure to scroll down for my CAS Clean and Simple project. Two posts today...woo,hooo

ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Charlene! I love the colors!
ReplyDeleteSuch nice colours... my fave really. And wow! Fingers used to colour the flower - brilliant. Really fresh and cheerful card. There is something about blues and greens that makes one's senses relax.
