Clean and Simple Monday

I've had a few emails asking where I've been.  In addition to being just plain busy with work, DH has graciously given up his office so that I could move into it.  We both said moving to a new house would have been simpler!

I'm hoping to get back to a somewhat regular schedule (although wedding season keeps me hopping) and start creating again.

It's still Monday...so thought I'd grab a few minutes to play with a couple of challenges.

The SCS CAS Challenge (CAS227) is a Theme Challenge - Summer Fun.  I combined the challenge with the sketch challenge from CAS(E) this Sketch (CTS#34)  to come up with my favorite Summer Fun holiday...the 4th of July.  I love everything about it!  This year, though, we're concentrating more on the meaning behind the holiday and it's real name, Independence Day.

Here's the sketch:

and here's my take on it:

Suplies:

Cardstock - Neenah Solar White
Stamps - Papertrey Ink 1776
Ink - Hero Arts
Ribbon - May Arts Glitter Velvet (I seriously LOVE this ribbon!)
Other -  Cuttlebug Star EF; Xyron Create a Sticker; acrylic star

Thanks for hanging in there...I've got a giveaway coming up  soon as welll as a peek at my new space.
