Clean and Simple Monday

Two CAS cards for you today.  The first is for the CAS117 Challenge over at SCS.  It's a color challenge to use brown, white, light blue and tan.  My mind went immediately to the beach.

May Arts is having a beach themed challenge this month.  I'm so excited about this challenge.  May Arts has so many beautiful, natural ribbons to choose from!  I just happen to live a few miles from the beach and the SCS colors are so natural to the area.

Supplies:  Paper - Bazzill Basics, Neenah Classic Solar White, PTI Dark Chocolate
Stamps - Impression Obsession
Ink - Tim Holtz Walnut Stain
Accessories - May Arts Burlap Twine, Burlap, shells

The Play Date Cafe #79 color challenge was really interesting this week.  Sadly, I needed a sympathy card so decided to see what I could do with those colors.  There is a tiny bit of glitter pen at the base of the leaves that looks really nice IRL.

Supplies:  Paper - SU Dark Grey, Riding Hood Red, White
Stamps - PTI Out on a Limb
Ink - SU Dark Grey, Versafine Lime
Accessories - Sakura Glitter pen, ribbon, embroidery floss, Glue Arts Ribbon Adhesive

These were strong colours to incoporate on a sympathy card Charlene, and I think you did a wonderful job of it! Thanks for joining in the fund at the Play Date Cafe :)

Both of them are lovely... LOVE the look of the first - PERFECT in every sense of the word. The strip of jute gives it so much character.

And the second one is delicate and pretty. The ribbon looks so nice.

Hugs,

Monica
