a single rose

Thanks to everyone who's been hanging in with me while I've been recuperating from my fall down the stairs.  It looks like I'll have a few months of physical therapy to do but hopefully, the pain will continue to subside and my mojo will kick back in.

On a brighter note, I was able to actually make a card today!  This is the for the Rubbernecker Sisterhood sketch challenge SS5

The rose was stamped twice on X Press It card.  I cut out the image, then glued one down.  I then cut out the flower and petal from the second image and mounted them on top of the first image with foam tape.

Supplies
Card size - 5" x 5"
Paper - X Press It Card; Papertrey Smokey Shadow/Vintage Cream; K & Co. Black/Ivory Fusion
Ink - Tsukineko Memento; Copics
Other - May Arts 1/4" black silk, Cuttlebug EB folder; MS butterfly punch, Spellbinders Circle dies, stick on pearls, corner rounder, foam tape
Pin It!

This is so pretty Charlene. Very elegant and the rounded corners soften it more too. Glad you're back to stamping.
