Giveaway Winner

When we were little, our Mom always made us be very quiet between the hours of 3-6 p.m. or at least as quiet as 5 children could be.  It was a time to reflect and remember...

Since I was sick, I missed the deadline for the CAS-ual Friday challenge (CFC95) last week but I did get a card done.  We were to make a card with no stamps!  Since the sponsor was a sticker company, I decided to go waaaay back in time and use stickers....remember those?  A local church was given a bunch of scrapbooking supplies when a scrapbook here went out of business a few years ago.  They couldn't store all of it so they gave it away.

I got alot of stickers.  Kept a few and made lots of kids happy too. :-)

CAS-ual Fridays

I thought I would play along with the CAS-ual Fridays (CFC54) Challenge to make a masculine card using designer paper. 

I used a strip from Graphic 45 Transatlantic as well as a tag from the collection.  I decided to make my own DP for the background.  I used a new background stamp from Rubbernecker called Paint Spattered Screen stamped with Versamark.  I really like the subtle texture it adds.

Ink - Versafine Sepia, Versamark

Paper _ Graphic 45 Transatlantic; Papertrey Ink

Other - May Arts Burlap String; Scrabble letters; SU large eyelet; foam tape
