Clean and Simple Monday

Do you ever feel like time is just flying by and you're running as fast as you can to catch it?  That is the case with our son's anniversary.  It crept up before I knew it so I had to make a card...FAST!

I just got some awesome Webster's Pages goodies in their warehouse sale so decided to put some of them to use on this fast card.

Aren't these embroidered shapes from the designer Threads pack sweet?  I just layered 3 of the designs, added some scoring...sorry it doesn't show up better (already mailed it so no re-takes!).

I started with the CAS(e) this Sketch #36 but couldn't make the sentiment panel work so won't be entering it.

Be sure to pop over to the May Arts Blog.  The Ribbon Lady is previewing the finalists for the new Prima Design Team.  Tell her your favorite (s)  and you could win some ribbon for yourself!

Well done!

Did you know that there's a new CAS sketch blog on the block?  Well, there is!  It's called CAS(E) this Sketch.  They've got a talented team of CAS designers and some great sketches to inspire you.

Here's their second sketch challenge (cts#2) and my take on it:

I flipped the sketch and made a kid friendly card.  It's back to school time and that means we need to encourage all those little learners so they know the sky is the limit if they work hard!

Supplies:

Paper - Neenah; Stampin'Up

Stamps - Papertrey Ink Fly Away & Up, Up and Away

Ink - Memento; Versafine; Copic markers

Other - May Arts Red Twine; Papertrey dies

Blessings!!
