This card was inspired by the challenge on the Less is More blog to "Use Ink". What I forgot was the part of the challenge that said ONE LAYER..oh well, botched that challenge, but I still love the look of this card.
What it's hard to see is the awesome shimmer of the paints..
They look awesome on black glossy cardstock (which I also bought) but I used them on watercolor paper here because I wanted to see what they would do. They didn't spread but they didn't soak in either. I used a Tim Holtz blender to swipe them across the paper and love the results.
Supplies:
Cardstock: 140 lb. cold press watercolor paper, PTI Aqua Mist
Ink: Tim Holtz Walnut Stain, Judikins Mica Gloss
Other: Tim Holtz blender

I love your card as well... The background is awesome.
Funny, I was like that, too, as a little girl - did not like to get my hands or feet dirty... You should see me in the playground - I am almost petrified when Aleeza takes off her shoes and wants to walk bare foot. I keep reminding myself that she is a little girl and that she must explore. Also she loves painting her hands and feet and I am always running after her with a wet towel wanting to wipe them clean! Lol... keep forgetting that it is all part of growing up and having fun.
Your card is lovely. The stamp looks so neat.
