Barbara had a very big blockage in her heart so she went in for open heart surgery which in itself is a big deal. Her lung was knicked or punctured while the breathing tube was being inserted which has caused some very big complications. During surgery to clear her airway from that, she had a stroke. Right now, her R leg is paralyzed but she can move her arms.
Barbara is orginally from N. Carolina and loves hummingbirds and dogwoods and she LOVES cards so our challenge is to send Barbara some get well wishes featuring the things she loves. I used my beautiful hummer from Sparkle N Sprinkle set 451 Hummingbirds and Flowers.
I used Card Patterns Sketch 160 as my starting point. I layered both the flower and the hummingbird and stamped the remaining part of the sentiment on the interior of the card.
