WOYWW168

Hello Wednesday!  It's only Tuesday but it seems Julia (Stamping Ground) has graced us with an early post.  I was actually in desparate need of some sketch inspiration so just popped on to see what was out there.

Here's a peek at what I plan to use...I hope, anyway!  It's a piece of the botched watercolor technique I attempted for SCS then rescued from the waste basket when I saw how beautifully it dried.

A couple of Halloween stamps from the $1 spot at Michael's and some hook & loop tape from Tombow that I'm dying to try out on something.   I'm playing with some Versamark and a butterfly from Rubbernecker Stamps...what do you think?

While you're here, don't forget to drop over May Arts for Basically Bare Blog Week...there are presents, you know1

And, make sure you check out the Rubbernecker Stamps challenge link on the top sidebar....Prizes there, too!

and finally....it's almost the end of the month so be sure to click on my giveaway link at the top of the page to comment on the right page if you'd like a chance at that Papertrey Ink gift certificate.  It's just sitting in my account waiting for someone's name!

I'm glad you rescued this scrap from the trash...It has potential!

I will check out the candy...my little grandaughter wants to try for candy but I was worried some might think she is a candy only blog...now that she has 3 whole posts, I will let her try...teehee

She is on WOYWW this week just before me!

It just shows how things can be rescued even when we think at first that there's no point in saving them. Thanks for sharing your workspace. Hope you have a good week. Hazel WOYWW #8 x

great looking desk this week. I try to keep an open mind about the color something is going to turn out to be when dry cause I used to throw a lot of papers away just to pull them out again. Have a great week and thanks for sharing. Vickie #68

Love that background. Glad that you saved it. I do love some versamark. I am going to be doing a resist technique using it.

Love your busy desk and I thought, at first, that the sponge on the right was part of a PEACH!!!

Sometimes it's the bits we rescue from the bin that make us the pieces we like best. I love the colours on that piece - I always seem to want Halloween stamps when I see other people with the, although I have little use for them lol.

Now that did dry nicely...good for you for seeing it! Now, what genius are you going to come up with for that hook and loop I wonder? I've used some recently on my cut nary foam pieces, but that's about all!!

It did dry beautifully. I have so many of these kinds of experiments saved for future projects bravo to you for putting it to use.
